Description: In this video I share with you my weight loss progress after I lost 50 pounds. This is the first time wearing a swimsuit since starting my healthy weight loss journey back in August 2019. I worked out 5-6 days a week. I focused mainly on cardio exercises. Cardio and HIT (high intensity) workouts burn tons of calories. Occasionally I would lift weights but I focused mainly on cardio exercises. Along with working out regularly, I focused on eating smaller portions of food, drinking lots of water and substituting heavy carbs like rice for veggies and fruits. I do not completely restrict myself from enjoying food. If there is a special occasion, holiday or I simply just want to treat myself to something that is a little fattening, I will do so but then the next day I go right back to eating healthy and working out. Life is about balance. My weight loss is slow and steady because I am no longer on a fad diet to lose weight fast. I am doing what works for me and what I see as more sustainable. I have 50 to 55 more pounds to lose, so by the summer you should see my full transformation. My official lifestyle change started August 2019 at my highest weight of 245 pounds. It took me 4.5 months to lose the first 45 pounds. As of April 2020, I have lost an additional 5 pounds.
